John and Amie Lee Kennedy, taken about 1912, around the time of their marriage, who lived in the house where the Lake Martin Machine Gun gun range is now located. Their home is still standing as of 2019 and is probably well over 100 years old. Uncle John was my grandmother Cynthia Kennedy Hall's brother, as well as brother to one of the principals at the Red Hill School, Carl Kennedy. One of their daughters, Nell Kennedy Yoder was a teacher at Red Hill School and taught me briefly in the 2nd grade in one of the rooms of the north wing of the school that is currently being restored. My thanks to Phil Kennedy for sharing this pic!
