This is Alvin Berry Dopson who was born on June 22, 1890 and Lottie Nail Dopson who was born on March 24, 1895. They were married in 1914 and raised twin daughters, Ila Mae and Ida Faye in the house shown in the old homes section. He died a young man on March 20, 1921. Lottie lived on, to marry again around 1930 to Homer Hall. She never moved in with him or he with her. She out lived him as well and died on December 23, 1994, just a few months short of her 100th birthday. She played the organ at Refuge Church for many years until just prior to her death.

Thanks Tom, for the information on Aunt Lottie. Keep the information and corrections and additions coming. It should read correctly now.

Aunt Lottie passed away in 1994, not 1984. She was there months shy of her 100th birthday.
