I grew up across the road from this house, maybe 100 yards behind where the photographer is standing. As he got older he wore a hearing aid and when we were playing in our yard we could hear his TV.

I lived next door for about a year in 1946 until we got our house built. His brother-in-law, Mr. Grimes, Aunt Alma's brother had lived there until he gave Uncle Carl's dog away to a passing stranger.
