The home of Walter & Nancy Mullins Lloyd which was located on the old Red Hill-Kent Road, today's Lloyd Road. It burned some years back but the location can be approximated as behind the stone retaining wall near Lloyd Road, on the left just after you turn off on to it from Alabama 229. Miss Nancy drove the school bus for Red Hill, Kent and Tallassee schools for many years. They raised their son, George W. Lloyd in this home. We thank him for providing this photo of his old home place. It was probably built around the turn of the last century.
