This is what remained of the William Wesley Castleberry estate a few years back. This property was known to have been occupied in 1859. Will Castleberry, his wife Nancy Andrews Castleberry and the estate are key characters and property featured in the novel "Channahatchee" by Raymond E. Hall and Francine Coleman Larson, available on Amazon. The portion that currently remains has since just about disappeared into the undergrowth of the area, taking a lot of the moments of the family with it.
