The beautiful finished rooms that housed the 1st and 2nd grades in the far end and the 3rd and 4th grades in the near end.  A wonderful job has been done in the restoration a significant portion of our nearly 100 year building.  Thanks to many folks who brought this project to completion, starting with Charles Chambers, Ozzie Abel, John Gromko, Dan Donath, and many others, including those who worked to serve spaghetti and pancakes, as well as those who bought the food. We thank God for all of you, and for Him giving you the talents to bring this fantastic project to fruition.  It looks better today than it did when I sat in the far end room with Ms. Nell Kennedy Yoda as my teacher in the 2nd grade and in the near end room with Ms. Mulder trying to keep me in line.On the far end wall a small space has been left unpainted to allow some 50 year old graffiti to be viewed. The name "Jane" has been written in this space and we are still seeking to confirm its authorship. One other note of interest. Beyond the far wall sat the room for the 5th and 6th grades. It was in the cloak room of this room that Ms. Bixie Griffith beat the fire out Bobby Watkins.
