This lady of the past is Ms. Sula Vilula Ingram Ledlow. She was born on November 24, 1877 and married William H. Ledlow on November 26, 1898, just 2 days past her 22nd birthday. William died on November 8, 1931, just before her 56th birthday.
She remained a widow for the rest of her life and died October 19, 1966 as she neared 89 years of age. This pic was taken on the occasion of one of her late in life birthdays, as is indicated by the number of candles on her cake. She was the great grandmother of Mark Landers and Wally Roberson. She is buried in the old Watson Chapel cemetery located on the northeast corner of Landers-Swink Road and Holly Mill Road. My thanks to Mark Landers for making this pic available.
