This person from the past is William Wesley Taylor, born on January 3, 1836 and dying on May 21, 1909. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Hicks, who was born in 1838 and died 9 years before him in 1900. I think he was the patriarch of the Taylor's of Red Hill, one of which was Ivora Taylor who operated the water driven grist mill that was located just below the bridge over Gold Branch Creek on East Cotton Road back in the early part of the twentieth century. And of course my uncle, Willis Hall married Mr. Ivora Taylor's daughter, Alma. This would be one of our oldest photos of our People of the Past. Any one knowing more about this person is asked to please contact us with the information.
